Appeal of the PB&J

I have been living on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (before you say 'oh, poor thing') and I love it. It's the perfect combination of tasty, fast, and somewhere near nutritious. Another bonus? There are few ways to bungle a pb&j! I always seem to have the ingredients on hand, too! It seems to be a breeze keeping a honking jar of peanut butter in the cabinet, Razzleberry jam in the fridge, and bread on the counter. Easy peasy!

If I want to get fancy on myself, I will make it a pb&b- peanut butter and banana sandwich. But that often steals a banana away from the husband's prized "morning routine" of sugary cereal chased down with a banana. It's dicey to try and mess with the "routine." But if there's an extra banana- it's mine! Snip, snap, snup! Pb&b!

It will be a dark day when I don't feel like a pb&j. The only hope I have of eating after such a catastrophe is if I simultaneously develop the urge/ability to cook something. Scary stuff.
