Talking Points

Don't you just love it when you are under one assumption... and the hubs is on a totally different page?! It's great. Good times. (just wipe that dripping sarcasm off your computer if necessary)

Apparently Logan does not see the pressing need that all little girls have for their very own play kitchen. I mean, really... what girl here didn't have a kitchen?! Every time the girls are at a friend's house who has a kitchen- they will only play with the kitchen. That is why we need one.

So, I need some help pushing the play kitchen on Logan. He needs to be convinced that play kitchen = happy childhood. Any advice? Put some words in my mouth because "... but honey!" in a whiny tone isn't working.

  1. Hmmm . . . tricky. Just tell him it will prepare them to make delicious dinners for him down the road. The time to instill excitement in cooking is now. :) (okay, that was lame, but it's the best I've got at the moment).

  3. I don't remember how I talked Nathan into it...I just asked him and he said, "he's just a sucker." but it took me two years to finally convince him to buy a new one...we had one that my Mother in law got us for 10 bucks at a garage sale and it was a piece of "trash" literally, but I finally convinced him for Christmas and he finally said okay when I found a really good deal. Mine was 80 though not 200. LOL

  4. Play kitchens are a must! My boys were the same way at that age and there was no talking the husband into that one. So what did I do? I had someone else buy the play kitchen for a birthday and then he couldn't say no to Grandma's gift in the house!!! It blue and red which is just for boys. Good luck!
