A Father/Daughter Conversation

At a gas station in Beaver.

Dad: So, did the kids fall asleep yet?
Me: Not even close. I just don't know what to do! (more than a little stressed!)
Dad: Have you given them some Benadryl?
Me: No, Dad. You can't do that anymore.
Dad: Not even just a teeny little bit?
Me: No. Now how much further is it to Salt Lake?

That pretty much sums up the road trip experience for me. Now time to head back home and start the fun all over again. But it was so worth it.

Still... how easy did our parents have it? TV and Benadryl? Piece of cake.

  1. It was nice to see you yesterday. Too bad we didn't have time to really visit. It is fun having blogs to keep us in touch!

  2. My parents totally drugged us, or they had us so well trained that we fell asleep as soon as we got in the car. One of my brothers can still fall asleep instantly when he gets into a car.
