Puppas

I caught a few episodes of Dogtown the other day. My heart went out to all those poor dogs. Some people are so cruel, I simply cannot believe it. If I could adopt every one of those animals I would. I cannot praise animal adoptions enough. We adopted Scotty in 2004 from the NSPCA- we are so blessed to have him in our lives, especially when we were newly married. Logan was working a lot, and I was lonely all by myself at home. Scotty knew we were his second chance. All he wanted to do was please us. I am so proud to give him a loving home and a much better life.
When the toddler craziness comes down a few notches we are set on adopting another. Check out best friends, and maybe consider being a loving home to a needy animal as well?

And by the way, what's with people that don't like dogs? I've met a few of these alleged "people." It's just weird. Dogs are awesome in every single way. (except when they bark at high decibels and pee on the rug)

  1. I know what you mean! We paid THOUSANDS of dollars for a 'purebred' English bullgog- thousands of dollars because he was a 'nice family dog'- ha! He would've tried to eat my baby- I'm convinced. The only reason we got Mikey is because we were soooooo happy with Bailey- Bailey is the reason I fell in love with dogs- I wasn't much of a dog person- I thought they were too needy and messy. Bailey is just fun and loving and independent and playful and mellow and low-shed all at the same time. She got me to fall in love with these awesome creatures! Anyhow, I am all about animal adoptions! More power to ya!

  2. I love SMALL dogs. Not bears. Bears will eat me and my child. I'm sure of it. Dogs that weigh less than me and can't jump past my thigh... LOVE 'EM!!

and rebecca, i am the total opposite!! give me a dog that can protect me, and i'm all over it, but if i can squash it myself...no way, lol!

  6. we grew up with big dogs, what can i say? half the mess, maybe, but it's outside, with added benefit of scaring off scary people. what's a little dog gonna do? burst the scary person's eardrums with their supersonar barks, or lick them to death? (i'm just pokin' fun atcha!)
