I say you were right on on not caving on the cake rule- we do that too- it's tough- especially at grandmas but it's the rule! Hailyn has learned she doesnt eat breakfast she can wait until lunch- if she skips lunch wait til dinner- no snacks in between- and yesterday she did not eat breakfast or lunch really just a few bites and she sure ate her dinner! I let her drink tons of water of course but it helped a lot.

from a teachers perspective four year olds are plain sick of thier parents- no offense. It surprises many people but I will not be Hailyns preschool teacher when she is four- she will be sick of me- I already have another montessori teacher lined up for her- haha! it has to be hard juggling three kiddos and you are a champ! You've got this parenting thing- promise- keep up with follow through- and as hard as it is try and not let it get to you- they enjoy getting a reaction- once I ignored Hailyns tantrums they drastically went down. maybe it's thier way of fighitng for attention? can you carve 10 mintutes for each twin to snuggle and read a story everyday-one on one? while baby g naps? It's hard with three and the others wanting time too- I dont know I dont have twins and have NO CLUE where you are coming from- at all!!!! as your friend I think you are a rockstar and you have GOT THIS!!! Hailyn always acts out when she wants a little one on one attention- it has to be hard to diviy up time because well you have none!!! you will figure it out- and make it work because you are awesome!!!lacie tidwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05754330122733690615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2607690618431085686.post-20883326817186453432011-02-09T06:37:14.758-08:002011-02-09T06:37:14.758-08:00if you figure it out, let me know, because my EIGH...if you figure it out, let me know, because my EIGHT YEAR OLD daughter is still throwing the kicking, screaming, yelling, crying fits, but now she's got a better vocabulary to go with it. i am at my wits end, and so is my husband (who is the one with all the restraint at my house, who will lose his temper with her occasionally as well). we're thinking murder....or military school...lizShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02545210941031470270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2607690618431085686.post-27573631697011108322011-02-08T20:01:10.132-08:002011-02-08T20:01:10.132-08:00I am sorry, but I think the funniest priamry momen...I am sorry, but I think the funniest priamry moment of the year will be your husband leaning over the piano and whisper yelling, "Catie! Put your dress down!" :-) Mind you, she was sitting quietly minding her own little business... with her dress around her neck. I can only laugh because my son is the worst one in there.KBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17880688459509969590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2607690618431085686.post-88904943549202539192011-02-08T19:04:31.602-08:002011-02-08T19:04:31.602-08:00Trent, the source of all parenting wisdom.
