DVR = ADD?

I have become a lot more impatient when it comes to TV as of late. I absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, watch commercials any more. It's physically painful to have to sit through.
But lately I've been skipping the middle of my shows too. For example: Flip this House, I'll watch the beginning showing the wreck of a house someone bought, how much they bought it for, etc. Then I'll skip the majority of the show until the part where they show the end result and how much it actually sold for. Same thing with some of my other shows, if I don't like how long a certain conversation is taking, I buzz right past! This can't be normal.

  3. I do the same thing...we never watch anything "live". Thank heavens for DVR. Remember when watching tv w/ Grams and PopPop...muting the commercials? This is the same thing...just the next generation version ;).

  4. Wasn't there a conference talk that said not having any tv was like throwing the baby out with the bathwater?

  5. I see it as time managment! Being a TV addict, DVR is my best friend! Commercials are so early 2000's!
